1. Deadline to Give Preliminary Notice

PRIVATE:
Within 20 days of after the date of first performance.

PUBLIC:
Within 20 days of after the date of first performance.

2. Deadline to File Claim

PRIVATE:
Within 120 days of substantial completion of the general contract or within 60 days of the filing of a Notice of Completion (whichever comes earlier).

PUBLIC:
Within 90 days of last performance..

3. Deadline to File Suit or Foreclose Claim

PRIVATE:
Within six months after lien recorded.

PUBLIC:
More than 90 days, but less than one year after last date of performance by the claimant.
