Biography
Julie, an associate at the firm, is admitted to practice in Washington, including the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Julie’s practice focuses primarily on construction defect litigation, real estate disputes, commercial landlord-tenant litigation, and general civil and commercial litigation.
Julie has been part of her family’s small, construction business since she was young. She has experience working as a project manager on private and public works, as well as helping run her family’s general contractor and steel fabrication and erection business. Julie’s experience in the construction industry gives her a unique perspective and ability to analyze complex construction issues. Prior to joining Levy | von Beck | Comstock, Julie gained valuable experience representing property owners and contractors in construction and commercial litigation at a construction litigation firm in Seattle.
Julie is actively involved in the legal community. She is a Board Member of Washington’s Korean American Bar Association; an active member of the William L. Dwyer American inn of Court; a Board Member of the Federal Bar Association, WA State Chapter; and a Volunteer Korean Interpreter for Seattle’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs. Julie has also represented pro bono clients in Seattle University’s Gender Violence Immigration Clinic and in King County Sexual Assault Resource Center.
Personal Interests
Julie was born in South Korea and raised in Torrance, California. She has called Seattle her home since 2017. Outside of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, testing out different fried chicken recipes, and going to see her favorite bands and artists play live.
