Charlie is an associate in the firm. He is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon, and California, including in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Charlie’s practice includes construction defects, real estate and boundary disputes, condominium association issues, civil and commercial litigation, and appeals.
Prior to joining LvBC, Charlie worked for a prominent Bay Area firm specializing in high-asset matrimonial litigation. He has conducted more than fifty bench trials and/or contested hearings, as well as having handled multiple jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Charlie has extensive experience in retaining and working closely with qualified experts, as well as with business matters incidental to a dissolution.
Charlie graduated from law school with Cum Laude honors and a specialization in Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Charlie clerked for the Federal Public Defenders office, litigating misdemeanor criminal cases in Federal Court, as well as with a prominent Bay Area civil litigation firm. While in law school, Charlie participated in a four-week-long civil rights program taught by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy (Ret.) in Salzburg, Austria.
Charlie holds undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Public Policy, and he enjoys travel and live music, as well as spending time with friends and family, and his partner and two dogs.
